With over 1500 public parking spaces in the downtown core, you can always find a spot within a five minute walk of the best restaurants, culture, entertainment and post-secondary institutions in Downtown Brantford.

Timed parking keeps vehicles rotating so that space is available for people to shop and do businesses downtown. When employees, business owners, students and residents use spaces for longer than the allotted time, it limits the spaces available for customers. If you plan to be downtown for longer than two hours, one of our municipal or private lots have you covered.

There are nearly 500 on-street parking spots in the downtown core, as well as 18 accessible spaces. Unless stated otherwise by on street signage, there is a 2-hour limit, with no re-parking. The effective no re-parking area extends from Brant Ave. to Clarence St. (except Colborne which extends to Alfred St.) and from Nelson St. to Water St. and Wharfe St. Always check street signs to ensure you are not subject to a fine.

For trips downtown lasting longer than the 2-hour on street limit, there are a number of municipal lots available. The Market Street Parkade is centrally located in Downtown Brantford, just a short walk to the Brantford Public Library, Market Square, Harmony Square, Sanderson Centre and many local businesses.

Multiple other municipal lots are available along Colborne and Dalhousie as well as one on Darling, offering pay and display parking. These lots are conveniently located for patrons of local businesses and services, offering space closer to their destination.
